Babywearing

JS’s 2nd birthday. A visit to the zoo. Wearing baby and nursing baby

JS learns to wear her baby, just like what mummy does all the time.

You can wear your toddler too. Mum carrying JS in the sarong sling.

Sarong sling – I love it so much. It’s indispensable, even now baby is no longer baby but an active toddler, I still won’t leave the house without one whenever we have to bring the kids out. It gives a pair of free hand to do work. It wears your baby down and clam a cranky baby easily. Moreover, it’s really light weight and is certainly good for discreet breasftfeeding. You can use it as blanket too, when you’ve forgotten to bring extra sweater or socks. Love it, love it so much. Such a genius invention!

I guess all baby will prefers to be carry than be placed in the carrier/stroller. There are many ways and position you can use the sarong sling to carry your baby. It’s definately more handy than a heavy stroller…imagine going up stairs/escalator and crossing a drain with a heavy stroller , it’s much convinient.

Having an evening walk with the baby in the sling, also means that baby see things at your level, and not just much much lower (as in sitting or lying down in the stroller) and you can point out more things to share with your baby.

The pic of my mum carrying JS was when JS was 26months old and my boy actually still been carried that way until now (23++months) occationally.

[...] Babywearing: When WH was very young and me without a maid, it’s just so natural for me to wear him and do housework at the same time. Even though it might take double a time to accomplish a simple task. I just couldn’t leave him crying or being disturbed by the sister. Even now, when we go out, I still wear my baby when he’s too tire to walk. The beauty is we don’t need to have 2 stroller. 1 for the sister is good enough. [...]
