Small Mentality
July 19, 2006Small town people has got small mentality. I’ve experienced this with the idiot driver.
Another is about open burning. Regardless of whether there’s haze or not, open burning should be totally banned. The authority must take strict action, but again in this small town, everywhere you can find people burning rubbish. In my housing taman alone, it’s not usual to find a few houses doing open burning, the smell of smoke is bad even with a air purifier at home, we can’t totally get rid of the smell. Feel so suffocated with the burning smoke, moreover there’s this tabacco factory near to our house… Open burning does not only occurs in our taman, basically the whole town, everywhere I drive around during the evening, will see smokes rising in the sky. What’s the authority doing?? No body seems to care. The problem is , the garbage man doesn’t want to collect dead leafs and grass even already wrapped up properly in a garbage bag.
The drain outside my house is always blocked. My maid have to clean it so often by scooping up alot of dried leafs from the drain outside our neighbour house which is vacant. Only today we found out the neighbour 2 door away is sweeping all the dried leafs and sampah into the drain. Such a selfish act. With block drains, obviously there will be lot of mosquito.
I think I also mentioned about people doing business in this small town before. From landscapper to worker that plaster the wall to piano tuner, you need to call them a few times and they never turn up with you on the appointed time. When you call again , they just simple don’t answer your call or turned off the phone. They don’t even care about having one extra business…
Life is real sucks here……
PS:/ Andy.. u reading my blog??? Can you tell me why people from your hometown ini macam huh?????
My Little Boss
July 19, 2006
My boy loves to read the newspaper and he got the boss ‘gaya’ when reading the newspaper. He likes to flip through the newspaper during his morning breakfast, just like what mummy does in the morning…but his got the boss style.
Pages with cars and small children caught his attention the most.

When my boss is reading the newspaper, he is full of concentration. No matter how I call to him, he just won’t look up to me and keep browsing through the newspaper. He is as concentrated as this when he’s doing painting work, not likely to be distracted.
My boss is also very particular of his things. He knows that which things belongs to him and unlikely to have his sister have it or swap with the sister. (eg. milk bottle and his toys)
Pagestrenght
July 19, 2006Just visited 5Xmom site, did a little page strenght test…. my blog rated 1.5 out of 10. Ok…nevermind…. I don’t intend to go big about my blog. Never intend to be the most popular or known blog. (My old blog at Blogger rated 3.5/10…wahseh!)
Something I dislike when I checked on my blog stat daily is that how people stumble upon my blog through search engine.
Search terms includes
- Maya Karin nude pictures
- shy wife sites
- friends wife swimming pool pics (this one was 1st hits in google search)
- wife video
- wife sharing
- aunt+photos+legs
- pictures lying down with shopping bags
Perverts who has typed in these search terms ended up in my blog…. CHOOI… mine is a proper parenting/personal blog and yet it still ended up in the search results when perverts type in those terms…. sicko….thought I can really go low and eliminate all these unwanted attention….
Any idea how I can prevent my blog ended up in the search result to these sicko terms ????
Feeding Struggle
July 19, 2006I’ve entered into yet another stage of feeding battle with my kids. It was JS when she was 2 and lasted for about a year or so. She’s better now, easier to feed on whatever is offered and occasionally when she’s in the mood she can even feed herself/asked to feed herself. (Once a blue moon she will still go on food strike though)
Now WH is giving me problem. I wonder if all the kids nearing 2 will have this feeding problem. I’m not a patient person, especially come to feeding time, I want them to open their mouth big and gulp up and finish their meal in no time, but my kids are very “si man”, they usually take small nibble one at a time. I’m ashamed that my maid is more patient in feeding my boy than me, she certainly does a better job than me. I lost my temper real fast during these feeding hours… I don’t have the patient to sit there wait for them to take their own sweet time and to coax them to eat.
It’s yet another experimenting period for me to try different kids recipes.. what JS likes doesn’t mean that WH will like too, and I’m too lazy and it’s too time consuming to cater to each different tastes, (hubby’s , JS’s & WH’s). Most of the day WH even JS’s still on porridge. (JS has got no objection to it and I’m glad about that because that the only way I can make her take in sufficient variety of veges)
Occasionally JS will placed special order from the kitchen that she wants rice, noodles or pasta and I will try to see to her order been met.
I have stopped blending WH’s porridge. Even that he’s still not too keen. Don’t even want to open his mouth. Tried rice with dishes, he spits out most of it only when I did the bake cheese rice, he’s willing to take more, but still very small spoonful at each time. He’s quite capable of chewing hard food but when come to main meal, he seems not able to chew and tend to spit out whatever it’s coarse. The process of feeding him each meal takes up about 1 hour.
Whenever I’m angry… JS will be behaving extraordinary well. She will try to do whatever to please me, to even stroke and calm me. After I’ve calmed down, she would asked me why I’m angry… why I angry with baby, why I make baby cry….etc etc….
He also has a bad habit. He needs accompaniment. Bread, biscuit or whatever other food he sees on the table and he needs his car/toys to be put on his high chair’s tray. When he’s eating all the junk, he opens he mouth big and chew quite fast, mouth after mouth. He can also happily feed himself with all this accompaniment. He dislike wearing bib, after each meal, it would be mess all over his body and all around the floor.
This afternoon, steamed a fish for him to share with JS. Suppose to be center portion, but he insists on putting the fish right in front of him on the high chair’s tray. He cried and wailed when I didn’t want to comply moreover JS’s wanted to eat the fish too. It was a war and I got so furious with his tantrum, I gave up feeding him.
Really don’t know what else I can prepare for them. Food with too chunky veges, JS will not eat. I still haven’t figure out what’s good for the boy and what he likes. One thing for sure, they like noodles….plain tasteless noodle that’s it.
Birth Of JS
July 19, 2006Before given birth to JS, I was very scared about the birth process. The TV always shown women in pain, yelling, cursing….etc etc, and I always wonder how could a baby come out from such a small “hole”. My mum always assured me that birthing is not as scary as seen on TV, they are just exaggerating it. She said that the family has got gene of easy birth with only slight cramp on the lower back. Afterall my grandma has given birth 6 times and paternal grandma 13 times. If it’s that scary, they wont go through it over and over again…..
JS’s EDD was 8/12/2002. One week before the EDD, I went for my routine check with my gynae. At that time I was 1 1/2cm dilated. Gynae said I might go into labour any time, else I should visit him again on the EDD. My gynae was also suppose to be away for his annual holiday few days after my EDD. If my baby decided to come later, I would have to have another gynae (my gynae’s friend) to deliver my baby. Worried, because I really hope not to be attended by someone I’m unfamiliar to.
So we waited and waited for one week thought something would happen. But really there were no sign of labour, not even Braxton Hicks. I really thought that this pregnancy will never end. Worried if something might gone wrong…
Hubby and me had moved in to in-laws place 2 weeks before EDD, because I was suppose to have my confinement there and in-laws house is much much nearer to the hospital.
