JS has been excused from school since last Friday due to her cough. In order to occupy her time, we have decided to do a little pape plate craft together.
Here’s the paper plate crafts. The “octopus” inspired by MG’s.

Instructions from here. I drew the outline and most of the cutting and tracing is done by JS’s herself.

And more of her drawings….

House for Big Brown Bear. The red circle is the fish pond with red fishes inside. (The nicest house in black outline was drawn by hubby…not JS’s work.

Saw this fun tag at Immomsdaughter’s blog. Since I’m almost running out of topic to blog, my mind is on my ”new baby” now (most of the posts here are on scheduled posting which can last me through untill month end.
), decided to do this chain.

How to play (copied from Immomsdaughter’s site)
Photograph this blog post (including your monitor and its immediate surroundings), and post the resulting pic on your blog. Then the next person photographs your blog post and posts it, and so on. Leave your post URL in the comments so people will be able to follow the chain, and link your image to the post you photographed… this way people will be able to zoom into the monitors by clicking.

JS’s a big spender and shopaholic just like her mummy.
Each day after school…
JS: “Mummy, where we going now?” “Mummy, let’s go Giant. want to buy something lah”
and so often she says
“Mummy, buy things for me” or “mummy, why you never buy things for me?”
Before hubby went for biz trip,
JS:” Daddy, remember to buy me things huh?”
Since she’s the apple/gem/pet of the house, she usually gets the thing she wants easily , in fact without even asking. Since she was very young, each week she has been given pocket money (not just syllings but RM10 notes each week) from her grannies. Even when we go travel, sure the aunties and grannies will give pocket money for her to spent. She doesn’t yet know that she has to work hard to get something. Everything is so easily obtainable.
Most of the time I keep the money for her, telling her that that’s for her future and I’ll keep in the bank.
Recently she has been given a coin box.

Training her to safe for herself now. At the moment she got the coin box, everyone has been donating their coins to her. Within a day it’s almost 1/2 full already. She will go around and asked for coins from grannies, from daddy , from aunties and from me.
Told her only 1 coin a day, but still she come negotiate with me everyday, “two…two lah mummy….”
How to educate her that nothing comes easy….????

After more than a week, my Yahoo! mailbox is still inaccessible and still haven’t got any support from the customer helpdesk. Getting very frustrated now, because it means that I can’t access my FLICKR as well.
To friends and relatives that have sent mails to my Yahoo mailbox, kindly please note that I’m not able to read or reply your mails. Please proceed with my new mailbox at gmail.

I forbade JS to use the word “STUPID”, of course myself have got to be mindful not to use the word in front of her too
She knows she’s not suppose to use the word, but sometimes this forbidden word still blurted out from her mouth.
ME: “What did you say just now? You know you not suppose to say that”
JS: “No no…. I’m just trying to say TOOTHPICKS!”

Following many mommies on the blog’s footsteps… I’m getting myself another “home” . Very addicted to blogging and the itchy hands couldn’t resist of setting up another blog for my split personality.
It’s in Chinese though, trying to be more low profile there.
With one blog, already taken up alot of my time, another blog to maintain….*killer* but just like what hubby said …”TIME MANAGEMENT!!” ok ok….will have to juggle between taking care of the kids, household, cooking and STUDIES!!

There’s is another chatter box in the making in this household. I find it such a indescribeable joy to hear what my boy has to say. Each little words in his sweet little tone.
The other day, we were at the doc’s office for JS’s cough. WH pointed to the globe on the doc’s desk and said “MAP” The doc was impressed. Later he said “Bye Bye Doc….TOR”

Dressing up and making sure you look good is important, even more so for a homemaker/housewife. When you are a housewife, eventhough you work like a maid at home, but once step out of the house, you need to give people the impression that you are a “TAI TAI” instead of “AH SOH, WONG MIN POH”

Both JS & WH can manage their bowel quite well. JS doesn’t even pee in her nappy at night anymore. WH ocationally still wet his cloth diaper but most of the time, he knows how to go to the potty. He doesn’t even wet his cloth nappy during nap time anymore.(Don’t ask me how I trained them, they are self trained by 18th months)
I remembered only once where JS wet her pants in her sleep not too long ago…
We were travelling home on the highway from KL. JS was so tired she fell into deep slumber soon. Mid journey, I suddenly hear a noise “shhhh…shhhh..” I was wondering where is the leaking pipe sounds come from.
Before long, my doubt was answered. With her eyes still close JS said “Mummy, mummy, so wet, so wet. Mummy, why so wet” Initially I thought she was sleep talking. Later I realize the shh…shh sound was actually JS peeing in her pants. That was really funny….

JS’s sick again. The night that hubby got back, JS has developed a little cough.
Yesterday her cough worsen again, with a lot of phelgm, she was excused from school. Already done all I can to take care of her, be very careful with all her food intake, and yet she still developed these cough in a frequent basis. No flu but cough with lots of phelgm which make her vomitted each time she eats or drinks milk.
She didnt sleep well last night, neither did I. I’m so afraid that she might vomit in her sleep with all the cough going on. Keep on checking on her. Tried to stop her from coughing (which was quite impossible) because also afraid that she might disturb hubby. Checked on her at 3.30am, slight fever, fed paracetamol. Fever subsided now, but cough still bad. Chest’s tight.
She’s highly sensitive to the surrounding and food intake. Not too sure if it’s the haze now that make her cough. Mum said that she has difficult breathing because of the haze too.
Worry worry. When she’s sick , I rather I’m the one being sick. Hate to see her suffer.
