Baked Penne Pasta

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsps oil
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • cherry tomatoes, halfed
  • tomato pasta sauce (frm supermarket)
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 tbsps tomato paste
  • 1 tsp italian mixed herbs
  • beef/chicken sausage, fried and cut into pieces
  • penne pasta. Cooked and drained.
  • fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup grated cheese

1) Heat oil in pan, saute onion and garlic. Stir in pasta sauce, water, tomato paste, mixed herbs, tomato and mushroom.

2) Simmer uncovered till suce thickens slightly

3) Perheat oven at 190C. Combine tomato paste mixture with sausages and pasta. Spoon into a heat-proof dish. Sprinkle with cheese.

4) Bake for 20 mins or until top slightly browned.

 (this is the left over. Too hungry to gulp down the freshly bake version b4 taking picture)

    haha..perhaps you are the first to compliment on my cooking. And I dont really find it look delicious…. and I have just started learning to cook a year ago…. before that I was “十指不点阳春水”, never step food in kitchen and cannot even differentiate btwn garlic and shallots…
