Hubby has got a ex-colleague who is into this direct sales of health products. He has somehow convinced us on the product and manage to get hubby to join him as his down line. The ex-colleague of hubby has since go full time on this direct selling thingy, travelling over the country to expand his network.
Over the years he has tried to get us to be actively involved hoping that we could help him to expand his network…anyhow, this is not our cup of tea, hubby and me are not really the person that is good in sales. We mainly joined for the product sake, for our own comsumption.
Lately hubby failed to contact this guy to replenish our stock. I think mainly due to the reason that we don’t really buy in bulk and we are not helping him to expand his network meaning that we are just a small “kuchi mama” downline maybe of no advantage to him.
I can’t help ponder about these direct sales thing. At the initial stage they would hard sell and convince you how good their product is and so forth…but later when you don’t really show the interest they just vanished….do they really only concern about expanding their downlines or they have more emphasis on the products? I’m seeing that they only concern about expansion…. trying to get more people to join and not so much on focusing the products in small quantity to a small consumer like us….sad case for a good product like that
More focus on product or aim of expanding networking?
