
Ingriedients
- butter
- 1 Tbsp plain flour
- 1cup milk
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
- cooked macaroni (small pasta shells)
Method
- Heat butter in pan, add flour, cook stirring until mixture thickens and bubbles
- Gradually stir in milk, stir until mixture boiles and thickens.
- Add cheese and macaroni, stir over heat until cheese melts and mixture is heated through
- top wih chopped tomato
- served together with sausage
alternatively the macaroni mixture can be placed in ovenproof dish, top with a little chopped bacon, tomato and cheddar cheese and back in moderate oven until browned lightly.
